Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Pork Chops – We used four boneless pork chops, each about ½-inch to 1-inch thick. Bone-in pork chops will also work, but cooking times may need adjustment based on thickness. Pork is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Brown Sugar – Adds a touch of sweetness that balances out the savory and spicy flavors while also helping to create a caramelized crust.
  • Spices – A combination of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper gives these pork chops a rich, smoky taste with a little kick. For less heat, skip the cayenne pepper—or add more if you love a spicier dish!
