- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups 370 g long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) French onion soup
- 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) beef consomme
- ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, sliced into pats
- parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or oil. Set aside.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink (8-10 minutes). Drain grease.
- Add the ground beef to the baking dish. Top with uncooked rice, french onion soup, and beef consomme. Stir to combine.
- Top the rice mixture with the pats of butter.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
