Ingredients

  • 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen corn kernels, thawed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon chopped basil, optional

Instructions
