Why Eggs Are a Superfood

Eggs are a nutritional powerhouse, offering an affordable source of essential nutrients and protein. They’re renowned for their energy-boosting properties. With so many benefits, it’s time to incorporate more eggs into your diet!

How to Fry the Perfect Egg

Achieving the perfect fried egg is crucial for the ultimate Fried Egg BLT experience. With these simple steps, you’ll have perfectly fried eggs every time!

  1. Start with Fresh Eggs: Freshness matters for the best flavor and texture.
  2. Prepare Your Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of butter.
  3. Cook the Eggs: Once the outer whites become opaque (about a minute), cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 4 minutes for a soft yolk, 5 minutes for medium, or 6 minutes for a hard yolk.

How to Assemble Your Breakfast BLT

Now that you have your eggs ready, it’s time to assemble your sandwich:

  1. Choose Your Bread: Select your preferred bread—any bread will do, but we love this on our fresh sourdough bread Toast it lightly.
  2. Spread Mayonnaise: On one side of each slice of bread, spread a layer of mayonnaise.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Start with crispy bacon, followed by a handful of fresh greens (you can use lettuce, spinach, arugula, or a mix of greens).
  4. Add the Fried Egg and Tomato: Place the perfectly fried egg and slices of ripe tomato on top.
  5. Complete the Sandwich: Finish by placing another slice of toast, mayo side down, on top of the sandwich.
