Specialty & substitutions
Eggs: Start with six eggs for the velvety scrambled eggs in this recipe. Whisk them with salt and pepper for that perfect seasoning. You could also serve this with fried eggs for a fun twist!
Rolls: Opt for the irresistibly soft King’s Hawaiian Rolls, adding a hint of sweetness to complement the savory ingredients. Regular dinner rolls, English muffins, or bagels can be used, but we find that the Kings brand offers an additional sweetness that we love.
Meat: Deli ham slices provide a delicious meaty element, though leftover ham can be a great alternative. Feel free to add even more meats, like bacon, Canadian bacon, or breakfast sausage.
Cheeses: Elevate the sliders’ cheesiness with a combination of sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Feel free to experiment with your favorite cheese blend.
Butter Topping: The secret to our sliders’ decadence lies in the seasoned melted butter brushed over the tops of the rolls, enhancing their flavor.
