This Blackberry Moscato Spritzer is light, refreshing, and perfect for warm days or easy entertaining. Fresh blackberries are muddled with lemon juice and sugar, then mixed with sweet Moscato and topped with lemon-lime soda for a bubbly finish. The result is a bright, slightly sweet cocktail with a fresh berry flavor and just the right amount of citrus. Finished with a sugared rim and fresh garnish, it’s as pretty as it is easy to drink. Another blackberry favorite is our Blackberry Bourbon Smash.

Why This Recipe Works

Muddling the blackberries releases their natural juices and creates a fresh fruit base that pairs beautifully with Moscato’s natural sweetness. The lemon juice balances everything out with a bit of acidity, while the soda adds a light, bubbly finish that keeps the drink from feeling too heavy.

Tips for the Best Spritzer

  • Use ripe, fresh blackberries for the best flavor and color.
  • Adjust the sugar slightly depending on how sweet your berries and wine are.
  • Shake the mixture well to fully combine and chill before pouring.
  • Serve immediately after adding the soda to keep it bubbly and fresh.
