Spicy Avocado Dip

Looking for the perfect dip for any occasion? This Spicy Avocado Dip is creamy, bold, and packs a kick—definitely not your average guacamole!

Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • ½ medium red onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeño peppers, roughly chopped
  • medium limes, juiced, (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 3-5 tablespoons water, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  • Add avocados, red onion, jalapeño peppers, lime juice, 3 tablespoons of water, garlic, red pepper flakes, kosher salt, and black pepper to the bowl of a food processor.
  • Pulse until everything is well blended, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the chopped cilantro.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, spooned over tacos, or as a dip for nachos.
