Whipped Feta

Creamy whipped feta dip made with sour cream, olive oil, and garlic. Perfect for spreading, dipping, or serving as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 block (8 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for topping
  • 1 clove garlic, finely grated
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • red pepper flakes, optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Place crumbled feta in a food processor.
  • Add greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture is completely smooth and fluffy.
  • Use a rubber spatula to spoon the whipped feta into a shallow bowl and swirl the top .
  • Drizzle with a little more olive oil, and garnish with with black pepper, red pepper, and fresh parsley.
  • Serve right away with warm pita, crostini, or fresh vegetables.
