Quick and easy tuna salad sandwich recipe made with pantry staples—perfect for lunch, meal prep, or a light, satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 ounces) tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices sandwich bread, any variety you prefer
  • Lettuce leaves, optional

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add the drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, chopped red onion, and lemon juice. Use a fork or spoon to mix until everything is well combined and the tuna is fully coated.

  • Lay out the slices of sandwich bread. Spread the tuna salad mixture evenly over two slices. If using, top with lettuce leaves.
