Summer Sangria with red wine, citrus, and fresh fruit. A refreshing, make-ahead cocktail perfect for warm weather gatherings.

(750 ml) red wine (we used burgundy)

brandy or rum

Granny Smith apple,
sliced

strawberries,
sliced

granulated sugar

soda water

Ice,
for serving
Instructions
Add sliced fruit to a large pitcher.
Pour in the wine, brandy, and sugar. Stir to combine.
Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
Just before serving, add soda water.
Serve over ice and garnish with fruit.
