Root Beer Float

A classic root beer float made with vanilla ice cream and chilled root beer, perfectly creamy, fizzy, and refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream, about 2 scoops per serving
  • 2 cups chilled root beer
  • whipped cream, optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Place two tall glasses (12 to 16 ounces each) in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
  • Once chilled, add two scoops of vanilla ice cream to each glass.
  • Slowly pour root beer into each glass, tilting the glass slightly to minimize foam.
  • Top with whipped cream, if desired, and serve.
