Festive Orange Cranberry Slush freezes overnight into a scoopable base. Top with cherry soda and garnish for an easy Christmas party mocktail

Ingredients

Slush Mixture

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 ¼ cups (250 g) granulated sugar
  • 5 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate

To Serve

  • 4 liters cherry lemon-lime soda
  • Fresh cranberries, for garnish
  • Orange slices, for garnish

Instructions

Slush Mixture

  • In a large pot over high heat, combine the water and granulated sugar. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat. Stir in the cranberry juice, orange juice, and frozen lemonade concentrate until the concentrate melts. You should have about 4 quarts of liquid.
  • Let the mixture cool completely. Pour it into a large freezer-safe container with a tight lid and freeze overnight, or for at least 8 hours.

To Serve

  • Use a fork or ice cream scoop to break up the frozen mixture. Spoon about 1 cup of slush into each glass.
  • Top with cherry lemon-lime soda and garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices. Serve immediately.
