In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, egg, garlic, seasoned salt, hamburger seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty.
Cook the Burgers
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes without moving them. Flip once and cook an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the burgers reach your desired doneness.
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger, cover the pan, and let the cheese melt for about 1–2 minutes.
Toast the Buns
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Lightly butter or spray the inside of the hamburger buns. Place them on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 4-5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Assemble the Cheeseburgers
Place each cheeseburger on a toasted bun. Top with your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard, as desired.
