Homemade French Dressing is sweet, tangy, and easy to make with pantry staples. Perfect for salads, dips, or marinades

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced yellow onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • In a small blender or food processor, add oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, onion, paprika, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and water.
  • Blend on high speed for about 30 to 45 seconds until the dressing is completely smooth and emulsified. The sugar should be fully dissolved, and the onion completely pureed.
  • Transfer the dressing to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Shake well before each use.
