Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • cup whole milk, room temperature

Toppings

  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups 113g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • parsley, chopped, optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Adjust oven rack to the lowest position and preheat to 425°F.
  • Lightly spray a rimmed 10×15-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add eggs and milk.
  • Stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom.
  • Arrange pepperoni slices evenly over the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the baked crust.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the sauce.
  • Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is hot and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Slice and serve hot, garnished with parsley.
