Buffalo Sauce

Quick and easy homemade buffalo sauce made with hot sauce, butter, and spices, perfect for wings, dips, and more!

Ingredients

  • cup hot sauce, such as Frank’s RedHot Original
  • ½ cup 113 grams cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • tablespoons white vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and kosher salt.
  • Whisk continuously until the butter is fully melted and the sauce begins to simmer, with small bubbles forming around the edges of the pan.
  • Once the sauce reaches a simmer, remove from heat.
  • Serve warm, or let cool slightly before using as a wing sauce or dipping sauce.
