Bloody Mary

Bold and customizable, this Bloody Mary recipe is perfect for brunch with endless garnish ideas to make it your own

Ingredients

Rim

  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 wedge lime

Blood Mary

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish adjust to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 5 dashes hot sauce such as Tabasco
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • Crushed ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, celery salt, paprika, and pepper. Pour the mix onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a pint glass, then dip it into the seasoning until the rim is coated.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice cubes.
  • Add vodka, tomato juice, lime juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and celery salt.
  • Using a bar spoon or long-handled spoon, stir the drink gently until fully combined and chilled.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more hot sauce, salt, or lime juice as desired.
  • Garnish with a celery stalk, lime wedge, or your favorite toppings.
